Whales
Whales were a feature of this expedition. They did not disappoint !! We had numerous sightings everyday.
We had 17 excursions on Zodiac boats, often twice a day. At least 4 hours minimum each time out, whether land or sea ! We saw a lot of whales !!
Jill's Journey
Naming a whale for Jill was a highlight of the trip for me !! An auction item offered by Ted Cheeseman made this possible.
Honoring Jill's present journey, her 40 year journey with cancer, and the whale's journey would be a gift she would have approved. If the whale out lives me, then I will get updates of Jill's Journey the rest of my life!
